FAQs

Do you have testimonials from other families?

At Aventine Hill, we take your privacy seriously, so we don't share client information without their express permission. However, several families have kindly chosen to share their positive experiences working with us. Explore their testimonials to discover how we helped them find peace of mind and navigate their unique challenges.

How do you ensure the safety and security of my information?

We use the Google Workspace for our work. It offers a robust set of features to ensure your information remains safe and secure, eliminating the need for paper copies and their inherent risks. Here's how the data encryption works:

Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest within Google's secure data centers, using industry-standard encryption algorithms. When data is transferred between our devices and Google servers, it's encrypted using TLS/SSL protocols, protecting it from unauthorized access.

We use strong, unique passwords for all of our Google accounts and have enabled 2FA, and encourage the same for our clients.

Why is Aventine Hill Committed to a Paperless workflow?

There are four benefits to eliminating physical paper whenever possible from our workflow:

  • Reduced risk of loss or theft: Physical documents are vulnerable to damage, loss, or theft. Digital files stored securely in the cloud are much safer.

  • Improved accessibility: Access your files from anywhere, anytime, on any device with an internet connection.

  • Enhanced collaboration: Easily share files and collaborate with others in real-time.

  • Reduced environmental impact: Eliminating paper saves trees and reduces overall carbon footprint.

What are your rates and how do I pay?

Every family faces unique challenges, and your support plan should be just as unique. That's why we offer various package options for ongoing needs and an hourly rate for one-off services. Explore our flexible options and find the perfect fit for your family here. We accept online payments securely with Stripe, Paypal, Apple Pay, and Afterpay.

How are you different from an advocate?

Navigating special education can feel overwhelming. You need information about options like IEPs, 504 plans, and different types of academic support. An educational advocate is someone with extensive knowledge about special education programs, 504 Plans, IEPs, and academic support that students can receive. But hiring an advocate can be expensive and might not be necessary yet.

That's where Aventine Hill comes in. We empower you by:

  • Sharing relevant resources to deepen your understanding of available options.

  • Brainstorming ideas and questions to help you prepare for meetings with educators.

  • Offering emotional support and note-taking during IEP meetings.

  • Connecting you with qualified advocates if your needs exceed our expertise.

We believe every child deserves the best education possible, and we're here to guide and support you every step of the way. So, explore our resources, connect with our team, and let's work together to advocate for your child's success!
